About This Video

In this video I put Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 under the same microscope I use for summit-tier gear and asked the simple question: is it worth your money? I bought it from the Apple Store and lived with it for about four days, with roughly 50 hours of run time. Out of the box it was sharp and honestly not pleasant, but after 30–40 hours it settled down a lot—so don’t judge it immediately. I also go through the unboxing (classic minimal Apple), the new five-tip set, and why the slightly rubbery, matte tips help seal and support the noise cancelling. Then I dig into what Apple does best: software and ecosystem. The hearing test is genuinely well executed, spatial audio/head tracking is a fun gimmick (sometimes annoying), and adaptive mode in the gym was seamless—stomping on a treadmill basically disappeared and conversations ducked the music naturally. Transparency mode is the one area I’m not fully happy with: it can get crunchy/harsh around 6–8 kHz, even though the rest of the range is superb and the lack of cabin pressure is class-leading. Sound-wise it’s cleaner and more resolving than AirPods Pro 2, with deeper bass and better dynamics, but it still sounds digital and contrived compared to proper wired hi-fi. Overall: 4 tigers out of 5—best all-round Bluetooth option if you’re in the Apple ecosystem.
