About This Video

Munich High-End 2025 was hot, busy, and this was the finale—so I started in Hall 1 and went straight into the gear that actually made me stop and listen. At Astell&Kern I spent time with a 64 Audio pairing and compared it on the SP4000 versus my P6 Pro. On the P6 Pro it snapped into place: excellent foundational bass, a properly “black” background, strong staging and imaging, and a tuning that’s neutral-bright but seriously impressive in a show environment. Tip rolling mattered a lot, and I’m genuinely curious about price because it may be worth a full review. From there I dug into Riviera—finally getting a proper chat after previously reviewing the AIC10 and currently working on Levante. They showed a brand-new monoblock power amp (first production sample): 70W, high hybrid Class A, zero feedback, and priced around 51,000 plus local VAT for the pair. I also checked out fresh portable and headphone releases: AUDMA’s new portable amp/DAC concept with clever physical controls and a clean, refined sound; the AR9000 (around $1,500) with great comfort, speed, and imaging but a question mark on sub-bass roll-off; ZMF’s Bokeh Open with a wooden grille; and FiiO’s M21 plus the QS13 portable Bluetooth DAC/amp concept. Big thanks to everyone who made the trip possible—more is coming, including a new two-channel branch for the channel.
