Hey, what’s up—it's Conor. In this video I’m wrapping up 2025 with Mac apps that genuinely improve day-to-day workflow, not just “cool” downloads you forget about. I start with Cleanup Buddy, which is hilariously simple but insanely practical: it temporarily disables your keyboard and trackpad so you can actually clean your MacBook without clicking random stuff—music keeps playing, and you wake it back up by holding both Command keys. Then I jump into a bunch of small menu bar and workflow upgrades that add real value: Zone Bar for multiple world clocks (perfect if you work across time zones), MenuDrop for the fastest AirDrop drag-and-drop ever, and Hidden Bar to keep the menu bar clean without needing something heavy like Bartender. From there I get into bigger workflow changes like LaunchOS (because Launchpad is basically gone now), Pieoneer for a smart cursor-based launcher/switcher, and Monocle to blur distractions without closing anything. I also cover DockDoor for window previews and a better app switcher, CCC Corners for supercharged hot corners, Substage for plain-English terminal actions inside Finder, Affinity (now unified and free), and Folder Preview to finally Quick Look folders.
