Lately I’ve been obsessed with small tech—MacBook Air, iPhone, AirPods, anything lighter and easier to carry. The problem is obvious: small devices usually mean small screens, and that gets old fast when you’re trying to do real work or game on the go. In this video I tested the VITURE Beast XR glasses for three weeks of actual daily use to see if the “174-inch display in sunglasses” idea is legit, or just another XR gimmick. What surprised me is how finished these feel: aluminum frame, clean design, no weird branding, and it’s finally just USB‑C with DisplayPort Alt Mode—so for most devices it’s genuinely plug-and-play. The big differentiator is native 3DOF built into the hardware, so the screen can stay anchored without extra software running in the background. I used them as a portable ultrawide for my MacBook (I literally edited this entire video in a coffee shop wearing them), for Switch gaming with a cinema-sized screen, and for private streaming. They’re not perfect—re-enabling 120Hz is annoying and anchor mode can drift occasionally—but the overall experience feels less like a tech demo and more like a daily tool.
