About This Video

I’m out at the World of Concrete Trade Show with Milwaukee, and Nikki walked me through three brand-new PACKOUT crates plus a new insert that just dropped. We looked at the XL “wire pulling” crate first—this one’s built to hold up to six spools of 500 ft wire, and it’s designed so you can drop in a piece of conduit (15 3/4 in) and pull wire straight from the box. I asked the obvious question on conduit sizing (think cutting EMT to length), and the whole point is keeping the pull clean, organized, and ready to go. Then we went through the regular XL crate with dividers (75 lb rating) and the low-profile crate (50 lb rating) that’s basically made for quick access—especially if you’re tired of dealing with lids. The low-profile crate is perfect for daily fasteners like deck screws, framing screws, or cabinet screws, and you can move the bins around however you want. Finally, the compact crate (30 lb rating) is a smaller, open-front solution with a flip-up handle and score-and-snap dividers so you can customize access. And yes—I joked about using them as a step… Milwaukee says don’t do that (even though I do).
