In this video I’m running through my absolute favourite makeup products of 2025—and I’m actually applying them as I go, so you can see how they sit on real skin (pores, texture and all). I’ve tried loads of launches this year, and honestly drugstore has really upped its game (even if the prices have crept up). I start with the Maybelline Grippy Serum Primer because it gives me hydration with just the right amount of grip—perfect for my annoying combo situation where I’m oily in the T-zone but get dryness around the mouth. From there I do my everyday “skin but better” base with my ride-or-die Erborian BB Cream (I’ve repurchased it more times than I can count), plus easy brows with Refy Brow Tint and my favourite hack: the Judydoll ultra-fine eyeliner to draw hair-like strokes where I’ve got no growth. For eyes I keep it simple with the Sigma base, a quick bronzer-in-the-crease, and a one-swipe sparkly lid from Muzigae Mansion. Then it’s bronzer that basically does the work for you (Delilah), my top blush of the year (Rare Beauty’s bouncy matte), two highlighter favourites (Merit cream and Haus Labs powder), a tiny bit of smoothing NYX powder, Iconic London Prep-Set-Blur to pull it all together, and a shockingly good £1.50 Primark lipstick to finish.
