The big problem: the clippers are misaligned, feel janky, and leave nasty chunks of sprue behind—exactly what you don’t want. Some items are “fine” (a hobby knife is a hobby knife, and tweezers are tweezers), but as a pack it lands at about a 5/10 for me and, yeah, I called it a scam for the money. Then I tested the £21.99 kit and the sprue cutters absolutely shocked me—quiet, buttery smooth, and clean cuts with practically no cleanup. I rated those clippers a straight 10/10 and honestly I’d pay the price just for them, with the rest of the bits feeling like freebies. If you’re building your toolkit on a budget, skip the cheap pack and go mid-range where it actually counts: the cutters.
