I spent 6 days in a giant house with a bunch of music artists. They made 20 tracks while there, and I documented the entire process. Here I am talking with Hugh about why I love this kind of living situation + why I mostly hang out with the type of people who work on weekends (by choice). About This Video

In this video I spent 6 days living in a giant house with a bunch of music artists while they basically turned the place into a nonstop creation lab. They made around 17–20 tracks in just a few days, and I documented the whole process while talking with Hugh about why I genuinely love this kind of living situation. For me, it’s not even “work mode” in a miserable way—it’s fun. It’s the most fluid, low-stress type of productivity, because everyone’s on the same wavelength and nobody has to nag anyone to lock in. I also get into something I’ve been realizing more the past year or two: I’m not great at “just chilling” for the sake of it. If I travel just to travel, I get restless. Even when I slack off, I still treat it like a grind—like trying to rank up in a game or improve a skill. And that’s why I mostly hang out with people who choose to work on weekends: not because it’s morally better, but because it’s what actually feels natural and honest for me. The big takeaway is that the city matters way less than people think. If you get the living situation right—community, chemistry, matching energy—it almost doesn’t matter where you are. Home becomes the people, not the zip code.
