In this video, I’m talking about the pro-tankers vs anti-tankers debate and the one key thing a lot of people keep missing: the human element. I can understand both sides. I don’t agree with pro-tanking, but I get why some fans feel that way, and I also understand the “just let my guys play” crowd. But the real point is simple—none of this is in our control, and fans act like they’re the ones making front office decisions. If I paid my money and I’m in the United Center, I want to see a win. Period. And I’m not rocking with people who talk down on fans in the stands cheering because the Bulls made a run. You don’t know who saved up for those tickets, who worked a 9-to-5 to take their kid to their first Bulls game, and you definitely don’t get to tell that kid not to be excited about a win. That’s the part that pisses me off—people get so wrapped up in their own narrative that they forget what it means to show up and support a team you love. So argue your side all you want, but don’t disrespect the fans who are actually there living the moment.
