In this video, I’m talking about what I really look at as the Bulls’ core right now: Josh Giddey and Matas Buzelis. I know a lot of Bulls fans keep asking who becomes an All-Star first between the two, and that’s a fun question. But the bigger question to me is: can BOTH of them eventually cap out as All-Stars? Because if you’re sitting on two future All-Stars, that changes everything about how you build, how fast you can build, and what the front office should be planning for. I’m also honest about where I’m at with each player. With Matas, I think it’s too early to just stamp “All-Star” on him—he can be a damn good starter, but there’s a lot ahead of him. With Giddey, I’ve said it: the numbers are already there, and we saw that early in the season—now it’s about being on a winning team and staying healthy. And if the Bulls believe the right pieces and the right coaching can unlock that ceiling for both guys, it impacts everything, especially with me not believing AK is going to commit to being bad for multiple years.
