Well, well, well, well, well… the Bulls tried their absolute best to make this one stressful, but they still held on and beat the Houston Rockets 132-124. In this video I break down how we built a 22-point lead, then got outscored in the second half (76-67) and nearly let it all slip. The big story early was Colin Sexton going nuclear with 17 points in the first quarter, and even though people tried to make it “the Sexton game,” this was really about the Bulls getting production up and down the roster. Matas Buzelis was huge, especially after a rough start—18 of his 23 came in the second half, and that’s growth. Josh Giddey didn’t have to be a 20-point scorer to control the game: 15 points, 13 assists, 7 rebounds, plus defense. Seven guys hit double figures, the Bulls shot 50% from three (19/38), and that first-half three-point gap basically built the cushion we needed. And yeah, I talk about the pro-tank crowd too—because I’m never going to be mad at young players who are part of the future fighting and showing pride. If you paid to be in the United Center, you deserve a win to cheer for. Period.
