Dexter is a senior Cavalier with limited mobility, and the stroller lets him keep enjoying the outdoors, neighborhood strolls, and little adventures without his aching joints holding him back. I truly believe a stroller can protect your dog’s quality of life, especially in those golden years when being housebound would be so depressing. I also talk about how I used Dexter’s stroller during our years as a therapy dog team. Because he’s a pretty big Cavalier but still too short for wheelchair-level pets, the stroller made him the perfect height for gentle interactions in nursing homes. On top of that, strollers can be a game-changer for crowded places like pet expos or busy city streets—helping you move from point A to point B without accidental bumps, overwhelmed moments, or run-ins with not-so-friendly dogs.
