About This Video

In this video, I finally completed one of my bucket-list drives: Pashupatinath to Muktinath on two BYD EVs—my BYD Atto 3 and Divya’s BYD Dolphin. We start from Kathmandu, head to Pokhara, then push toward Mustang with real battery updates, consumption figures, and exactly where we charged (Kushma NEA, Dana Myagdi, and the situation at Jomsom). The main goal was simple: show you that Mustang is not “impossible” on an EV anymore—and yes, we also tried to connect two religious places in one trip. I share how the Atto 3 behaved on mixed terrain—tarmac, gravel, narrow landslide sections—and why I was genuinely impressed by the comfort, suspension, and ground clearance. Divya also shares her beginner-driver perspective in the Dolphin, including the one section where she lost traction and how switching modes and going slow made it manageable. My takeaway after this drive is clear: Mustang is easy now in dry season, charging is improving fast, and you can confidently plan an EV road trip here if you follow the right charging stops and drive smart on the rough patches.
