Benson Just Built the Ultimate Reverb + Tremolo

https://www.bensonamps.com/tallbird/tallbirdplus Today I’m checking out the Tall Bird Plus from Benson Amps. This thing is a fully tube driven spring reverb with tremolo, and it feels more like plugging into a vintage amp than stepping on a pedal. The controls are deceptively simple but insanely powerful. You can push the springs harder with the dwell control, shape the space with the size knob, blend the dry and wet signals, and then add either classic tremolo or harmonic tremolo on top. It gets surfy, huge, ambient, and sometimes downright chaotic in the best possible way. This might be one of the most inspiring reverb units I’ve played in a long time especially in the studio application I would use it in.
