@BigHairyGuitars and @LPDPedals just gave us gold. The LPD Spearhead isn’t your typical clean boost or “transparent” tone sweetener. This thing feels more like a front-end sculpting tool for your amp. You can tighten lows before the gain stage, add harmonic push, shape the brightness independently, and completely change how an amp responds under your fingers. What surprised me most is how usable every control is. The Lo Cut alone makes a massive difference with humbuckers and bigger amps, while the Push circuit adds this really satisfying authority and thickness without turning everything into mush. It feels refined. Thoughtful. Very player-focused. LPD collaborated with Michael Nielsen from Big Hairy Guitars on this one, and you can tell this pedal came from somebody who actually spends time stacking pedals and fighting real-world amp problems.
