In this video I’m taking a deep look at the Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022, and honestly… gaming chairs aren’t what they used to be. Secretlab basically simplified their whole lineup into one chair (the Titan Evo) with three sizes—Small, Regular, and XL—so you’re not stuck trying to decode Omega vs Titan vs XL anymore. I go over the new SoftWeave fabric and the updated PU leatherette, and even as someone who usually prefers fabric, I was seriously impressed by how soft and non-plasticky the new leather feels. The biggest “wow” upgrade for me is the living-hinge dynamic lumbar system. The old Titan lumbar was more of a static speed bump; this one actually flexes and contours to your spine, plus you can adjust height and depth so it fills that void space in your back without feeling aggressive. On top of that, Secretlab leaned hard into magnets—magnetic head pillow (strong enough to basically toss onto the chair) and magnetic armrest tops you can swap for upgrades. Add in the new pebble seat base that blends Titan flatness (cross-leg friendly) with Omega-style contouring, plus smaller quality-of-life tweaks like better levers and shorter hydraulics, and it’s a chair I can’t stop gushing about. If you’re new to Secretlab, this is the best time to jump in; if you already own one, it depends on how much you care about the new lumbar/seat/pillow upgrades.
