About This Video

In this video I take a close look at Ducky’s new One 3 series, specifically the One 3 SF 65%, and why it’s honestly the easiest Ducky keyboard I’ve ever recommended. I’ve been hands-on with it for a while (yeah, I was a little sick filming—bear with me), and the big headline is simple: Ducky finally stepped up where it mattered. The One 3 brings Kailh hot-swap sockets, EVA + silicone foam for sound dampening, and revamped stabilizers, and all of that adds up to the best stock Ducky typing experience I’ve used to date. I also go over the new design and the colorways—Daybreak, Yellow, Matcha, and Fuji. I’ll be real: no classic black or white option is kind of weird, and the yellow-on-yellow is… banana board energy. The board feels a bit heavier and more solid than the One 2 series, though the plastic top case still has that slightly disjointed flex. I also call out a practical issue: the white backplate can scratch easily when you’re pulling switches, so take your time. Bottom line: at around $130 for the SF, the hot-swap alone justifies the price bump, and the improved stabs and dampening make it a legit upgrade—especially if you’ve avoided Ducky as a daily driver because you didn’t want to be stuck on Cherry switches.
