I wanted to take a fun look back at some of my first reviews and a video that was so cringey that I pulled it from Youtube. I think it's important to look back and realize that we all grow and shouldn't be ashamed of where we came from. About This Video

This one’s a reaction video, and yeah—I don’t do these often. I went back and watched some of my first uploads (including a video I straight-up deleted because the comments and criticism made me self-conscious), and I wanted to see if they were actually as “cringey” as I remembered. Spoiler: some of it is rough. Handheld camera wobble, in-camera audio with my kids playing in the next room, the infamous “YouTuber newscaster voice,” and an intro that was basically five minutes of Blender tutorials pretending to be production value. I react to my earliest keyboard reviews like the Corsair Strafe RGB and the K65 Lux, plus a couple green-screen era experiments where I clearly thought I was doing something. I call out the real problems—lack of b-roll, dirty products on camera (gross), pacing that’s way too fast, and trying to sound “professional” instead of just sounding like me. The actual takeaway isn’t just me roasting old-me for fun: everybody starts somewhere. If you want to make videos (or do anything), the hardest part is taking the first step, and learning on “bad” gear teaches you how to use good gear better later. I also compare it to a more recent video and talk about how lighting, camera settings, and just being comfortable on camera make a massive difference—and why I’m trying to bring back the dumb jokes again, even if it’s a little cringey sometimes.
