In this video I put two of the biggest-name 60% gaming keyboards head-to-head: the Razer Huntsman Mini vs the Corsair K65 RGB Mini. They’re basically identical in footprint and both bring full RGB, removable USB-C cables, standard layouts for easy aftermarket keycap swaps, and function layers to replace missing keys. But once you actually start using them, the differences get real obvious—especially in build feel, keycaps, and switches. Build-wise, the Huntsman Mini just feels higher quality to me. It’s got that exposed switch design with a matte metal top plate, and even though the K65 Mini is heavier, it still comes off more plasticky and kind of hollow when you type because of all the empty space in the case. Lighting is the one area where I’ll give Corsair some credit: I think the K65 Mini looks a bit more saturated, and I love seeing three LEDs under the spacebar for custom caps. But the Huntsman Mini fights back hard with better overall “keyboard” feel, profile storage (up to six onboard), and—most importantly—Razer’s optical switches. At the end of the day, the K65 Mini at $110 just doesn’t feel worth it to me. The Huntsman Mini costs more, but you’re paying for better switches, a more solid build, and a board that actually feels like it belongs in that price bracket.
