Corsair jumps into the ring with their take on a 60% keyboard. The Corsair K65 Mini is not without it's problems though, Yikes. Note on switches, Cherry Silents are not available in the US. Get one HERE, but probably go with one of the below boards instead. https://amzn.to/3bTC8KN Ducky One 2 Mini Review: https://youtu.be/My-GWzd0sZU Buy: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/c/brainbean?keyboard=brainbean_ducky-mecha-mini Razer Huntsman elite: Full Review: https://youtu.be/DuC1v24MMN8 Razer.com: https://razer.a9yw.net/d1X03 Amazon: https://razer.a9yw.net/7jAkO fnatic Streak 65: Review: https://youtu.be/d3XlfAbM8O4 Buy: https://fnatic.sjv.io/9mMZy *Full Disclosure : I received a product sample to make a video. About This Video

Corsair finally jumped into the 60% market with the K65 RGB Mini, and I’ll be honest—I went into this review really excited to see what they’d do with the form factor. That enthusiasm didn’t last long. I break down the overall construction and design, and to me it’s just… boring. Outside of the little raised Corsair logo on the back, it feels like a plain OEM 60% board, and I was really hoping for a more premium metal case or that brushed-aluminum vibe Corsair has nailed before. On the upside, the lighting is actually solid. You can run it with or without iCUE, there’s a ton of onboard customization thanks to the Axon processor (up to 50 profiles), and it supports up to 8000Hz polling—though I don’t expect normal humans to notice that. The LEDs look bright and saturated, and the white top plate helps a lot. But then we get to the switch options and the sound: only Cherry MX Speed or Cherry MX Red (so linear or… linear), and the ping on this board is real. At $109.99, it’s an easy pass for me when boards like the Ducky One 2 Mini exist for the same money. If you want iCUE on a 60%, that’s basically the only real reason to buy it—and to me, that’s not enough.
