In this video I’m basically just bringing you along for the ride while I unbox one of the coolest limited boards Ducky has put out: the Year of the Rat Edition. I could not be more excited for this release—starting with the packaging, which is legitimately the best I’ve ever seen on a keyboard. The whole presentation feels way more premium than a standard One 2 Mini box, and the artwork (by Bounce, a graffiti artist from Taiwan) has so much personality that it instantly feels like a collector piece. Once we get inside, you can see why this is a $200 package. You’re getting a matching desk mat with the same street-art graphic, a numbered limited edition badge (mine’s 513/2020), novelty shine-through caps, pullers, and a few extras. The board itself is a One 2 Mini with some meaningful tweaks: a newer, more angular case that feels sturdier than the typical two-tone chassis, plus a hot-swappable PCB—finally. I’m not a huge Cherry switch guy, so being able to drop in something like Holy Pandas is a big win, and overall this keyboard is such a showstopper that I genuinely considered keeping it as a display piece for my collection wall.
