About This Video

I’m kicking off a full nail studio organization series, and Part 1 is all about tackling my Alex drawers and turning them into an actual nail art system—easy to grab, everything has a home, and way more functional for filming. The top looked fine, but once I opened the drawers… yeah. Foils, decals, builder gels, liners, dip powders, inks, watercolors, pre-designed tips, stickers, and (of course) my cute dish obsession were all living together with zero flow. I walked through what was staying, what was getting moved out (builder gels especially), and what I wanted each drawer to become—crystals, inks/watercolors, stamping, and dedicated nail art storage. The biggest win in this reset was finally giving my molds (and stencils) a real system. Because these drawers are wider, I took advantage of the space and dedicated two drawers just to molds so they don’t catch when I open/close them. I used my label machine (white labels because I somehow have a million rolls) and started labeling by theme so I’m not wasting time digging—like “roses,” “tropical flowers,” “mixed Halloween,” “mixed cuteness,” and more. It was tedious, but seeing it come together was so worth it, and I left myself room to grow… because I know my damn self.
