The course is fully online and self-paced, and when you finish you get a certificate of completion (not a government-issued diploma, not a provincial license, and not the same as a college program). I break down what I found most valuable: the focus on nail anatomy, sanitation, infection control, nail disorders, proper prep, structure, and safety—so you understand why things do what they do, not just how to apply extensions. Even though it’s online, there are practical assignments where you submit photos/videos and you have to work on real live models. I also talk about the reality of time commitment (it took me a full year), the cost (just over $3,000 CAD with the kit), and my honest take on the kit quality (usable, but mediocre—so I bought extra supplies).
