Hi guys, welcome and welcome back. In this video I’m jumping right into a Gothic Glam set that’s dark, moody, and elegant—more rich gothic vibes than straight-up “scary Halloween.” I built the base with that gorgeous Vintage Wine from the DVOK Quiet Core Collection, layered it with an F gel shade (honey/maple vibes), and then brought in the Rozyhip Autumn Collection because it literally screamed moody glam to me. The magnetic shift in this collection is so sick—like rose-pink particles flipping through deep tones—and it’s perfect for that seductive autumn vibe. This set was inspired by our Nail Creation of the Month Challenge in my Facebook group, BR Nail Talk. I worked in cat eye, rhinestones, foils (yes… you have to rub the be-Jesus out of them), lace details, and big 3D gothic charms with chain draping for that extra drama. I also did a framed “creepy” accent nail using a sponge-patted white base, decals, and raised lines with an embo gel, then hit it with black chrome details. I’ll be real—I messed up a step and forgot to wipe my matte top coat before chroming, so the chrome wanted to cling where it shouldn’t. I show how I cleaned it up, outlined what I wanted to stay chrome, and finished everything off while keeping top coat off the crystals (just go around them with a liner brush).
