In this video, I’m in Lexington, Kentucky with Heather for a full tour of Bricks & Minifigs Lexington—one of those stores where you can walk in and immediately get distracted by everything. We start with the famous bulk tables, and Heather explains their approach: pack in as much as possible and let people dig, plus they run a weekly bulk special where you buy a tub and can refill it every week for $10. From there I check out the minifig selection, sealed sets, and a ton of pre-owned, “pre-loved” sets—everything from Harry Potter and Star Wars to nostalgic throwbacks like Extreme Stunts, plus some wild finds like Bionicle, Ben 10, and even Belleville. One of the big takeaways is how fast inventory changes here—Heather’s best tip is to shop often because things can come in literally hourly. We also talk about how they handle used sets: they’ll take anything, then clean it up, rebuild if needed, and get it ready for the shelf. Finally, we head next door to their brand new, much larger party space: two rooms that can open into one huge area (up to around 100 people), with hands-on activities like a demolition derby table, a race track build-and-race station, and tons of brick for free play—plus party perks like a bulk cup and build-a-minifig for each kid.
