About This Video

I’ve been uploading every single day since January 1st, 2025, and I wanted to talk about consistency in a way that doesn’t turn into “the grind.” I’m a pretty low-energy person, so I’ve had to build a setup (and a mindset) where showing up feels less like a chore and more like something that just fits into my day. The biggest practical thing I do is reduce friction: if I have to dig my camera out of a bag or set up lights, I just won’t do it. So my camera lives on my desk, my light is already there, and sometimes I don’t even use it. The other big shift was letting myself be average. I’m a perfectionist, and I had to learn that not every video needs to be a banger or a masterpiece. Some days I’m tired and I only talk for a few minutes, and that still counts—because if I only showed up when I was at 100%, I’d never be consistent. I also intentionally sit down without a perfect plan sometimes, because once the camera is in front of me, the words usually start to flow. For me, consistency is really just building a life that makes it easier to become the person I want to be—and then showing up for the process.
