Hello friend. In this video I’m doing two things at the same time: printing a memory, and showing you everything I carry every day (EDC)… but not in a super strict, tactical way. It’s more like a pile of stuff I’ve gathered on my desk and I’m just talking through it, unedited, because I want to practice speaking. I flip through the little stack of photos I’ve printed so far—Canada, South Korea, Bali, Italy, Costco hot dog (yes), and of course Halakala, my favorite place in the world. Then I print a photo that actually matters a lot to me: my kitty, Creep. I miss her, but that’s kind of the point of these little memory projects—at least I took photos and videos. After that, I get into my barebones essentials (phone, watch, earbuds, wallet, keys) and then the “depends where I’m going” stuff like my Uniqlo shoulder bag setup, sunglasses, handkerchief/microfiber, phone tripod, Kindle, flashlight, power banks, and a small pouch for skincare/health items. It’s simple, functional, and it’s what helps me keep showing up and making quiet vlogs.
