Ohuhu sent me a bunch of their new Honolulu Plus alcohol markers and a marker pad to test, so in this video I unbox everything, sort out the sets (because it’s a bit odd — you end up with two bags and 60 pens even though the range is 54 colours), and figure out which colours are duplicates. I also do my usual swatching and colour testing so you can see how the inks look on paper, how they blend, and what the brush and chisel nibs feel like in real use. After the tests, I actually make some finished pieces so it’s not just swatches on a page. I use the Ohuhu marker paper to see how it handles alcohol ink (bleed-through, smoothness, layering, all that good stuff), then I create a Lunar New Year artwork for 2026 — the Year of the Horse. I’m a “Horse” myself, so I had to make something for it this year! As always, these are my own opinions, and I share what I genuinely liked, what felt a bit quirky, and who I think these sets and paper are best suited for.
