In this video I’m doing a proper deep dive into Volume 3 of Sarah Renae Clark’s Colour Cube. I flip through every single card in the box so you can see the vibe of this volume, and I talk through how I like to approach the palettes when I’m looking for colour inspiration (especially when I want something limited, but still punchy and fun). If you’ve watched my Volume 1 and Volume 2 videos, this is the next step in the series—Volume 4 is coming soon too. After the flip-through, I pick out a few palettes and actually use them in the Vibrant Wilds colouring book (also by Sarah), because I think that’s the most helpful part: seeing the colours in action, not just on a card. For today’s colouring session I used my Marco Masters Tribute coloured pencils, and I focus on choosing a small set of colours that work together, then committing to it on the page. If you’re trying to get better at colour choices (without overthinking it), this is such a satisfying way to practise—and it’s a really relaxing, creative play session at the same time.
