Welcome to my very chaotic (and very fun) “New Stuff November” episode — it’s basically a mixed bag art supplies haul where I unbox a bunch of new goodies, have a bit of a chat, and then actually test some of it with swatching and colour experiments. I’m a Melbourne artist, so this is exactly my happy place: new materials, first impressions, and figuring out what’s genuinely useful versus what’s just shiny and tempting. I also mention The Army Painter stainless steel mixing balls — because I’d rather pay a bit more for a trusted brand than risk dodgy ball bearings wrecking my inks. Overall takeaway: new supplies are exciting, but I’m always testing with a “will I actually use this?” mindset.
