Today I’m doing a proper deep dive into Volume 1 of the Color Cube by Sarah Renae Clark. I flip through every single card in the box so you can see exactly what you’re getting—lots of different vibe-y colour stories, from soft and muted through to bold and punchy. If you’ve ever wondered whether the Color Cube is actually useful in real life (and not just pretty to look at), this video is my honest “let’s test it” moment. After the full flip-through, I pick out a few limited palettes and put them to work in the Vibrant Wilds colouring book (also by Sarah). I’m using my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils for the colouring session, and I chat through how I choose colours from the cards, what I keep, what I tweak, and how a restricted palette can make a page feel more cohesive straight away.
