In this video I’m reviewing 502 Fragrances Signature Femme, an indie/niche release from Justin Thomas—an independent, self-taught perfumer (and longtime YouTube creator) who’s actually worked in fragrance retail and then decided to carve his own path into perfumery. I want to be super transparent: this bottle was sent to me for free for review, but I’m giving you my honest thoughts, and I’ll have his site and launch video linked. Signature Femme is a tutti frutti style fragrance, but it’s not juvenile or bubblegum-sweet. On my skin it centers around stone fruits—especially a gorgeous apricot with peach—lifted by bergamot and lemon that add both sparkle and a true citrus feel. The heart brings in rose and watery florals, and the base is vanilla, musk, patchouli, and a cotton candy note that reads sweet and elegant (not over-processed sugar). What I love is how it hits that bold, sexy, confidence-boosting “designer” vibe without going into the headachey, cough-syrupy, overly jammy patchouli-fruit territory. Performance is excellent: I get at least 8 hours, with a fairly linear wear that softens into a more musky, watery-floral vibe as it dries down, while still staying bold. Price-wise, it reads like a higher-end designer fragrance in smell, performance, and presentation, and I don’t find it overpriced—even more so if you catch a sale.
