Salutations, friends. This is a quick little catch-up video about where I’ve been, why I’ve been so AFK, and what’s coming next on the channel. The short version: I’ve been mindblowingly sick (a three-week migraine, congestion, and then COVID), and I also started school full-time while still running my business. Since YouTube is a hobby for me—not a job—when I’m busy or sick, that time gets pulled from filming first. I’m not quitting, and if I ever did, I’d make a video about it. I also share a small but exciting filming update: John got me a MacBook for my birthday, and we found a way for me to film so I can actually look at you instead of staring at my iPad viewfinder (which I’ve had to do to avoid triggering migraines). Content-wise, I’m easing back in with a few easier videos while my nose and sinuses recover—like an unboxing for a subscription box that was sent to me (a service I used to pay for and genuinely enjoyed), plus some first impressions that don’t require weeks of wear. I’m also planning a “most worn” video, a longer Q&A/comment response, updates on Scentbird, and potentially an Ulta points haul—so tell me what new releases you want me to review.
