About This Video

This vlog is a REALISTIC day in my life as a NYC mom of 3 with a 3-week-old newborn, and baby… it was giving no sleep, bottles on repeat, and straight chaos. I started the vlog in the evening while I was pumping and putting my breast milk together for the next day. I’ve been using a breast milk pitcher (shout out to my grandmother) because it saves me time—less opening bags, less extra steps, and I can just pour bottles as I go. I also show you how my milk changes (color, fat) depending on my water and food intake, because you really are what you eat. The next day we’re rushing to Mega’s first pediatrician appointment and I’m also taking Kai for vaccines (and yes, I felt bad because we let them build up and he needed multiple). I also share what’s been going on with me postpartum—my stomach has been contracting hard, especially when I pump or nurse, and I’ve been dealing with lower back pain too. At the appointment, Mega’s weight gain shocked me: he went from 6 lb 15 oz at birth to 9 lb 10 oz at 3 weeks, so that breast milk is doing what it needs to do. We run errands (Dollar Tree + Aldi), I pump in the car, and I give updates on what’s working and what’s not—like why I don’t use my Momcozy M5s in the car because the milk splashed everywhere. And my biggest takeaway? If you’re feeling off, worried, or just not like yourself, go outside and get fresh air (or go to the gym when you’re cleared). It really helped me feel better that day.
