Welcome to Day 1 of my SOUL FLOW PILATES series—this is a beginner-friendly, 20-minute Pilates session focused on core activation and alignment. In this video, I’m using a portable Pilates board from Amazon because I wanted something that’s super easy to set up, compact, and actually realistic for my girlies who want to get into Pilates but can’t afford a studio right now. I walk you through what you’ll need, we chat a little, and then we get right into a warm-up stretch so your body feels prepped and supported before the core work starts. The workout is timed: each exercise is 45 seconds on with 15 seconds rest, and you can pause and do 3 sets if you want more of a burn. We move through mountain climbers, knee tucks, sliding V-ups, oblique crunches on both sides (yes, we repeat them), and reverse crunches—so you’re hitting your lower abs, deep core, and obliques while staying mindful of form. I wrap it up with a cool down stretch and final thoughts, and I really want you to feel like you can come back to this routine anytime you need a quick, effective core reset.
