How this tank turned into lush jungle in just 30 days

In this video, I’m sharing the complete 30-day evolution of my planted aquarium using a simple, budget-friendly setup with DIY CO₂. The video starts with a cinematic look at the final result, followed by the full build process—from hardscaping and substrate preparation to planting and cycling. You’ll see how I prepared tissue culture plants before plantation, how I planned plant placement for long-term growth, and how the tank changed day by day during the first 30 days. I’ve documented both the struggles and the progress, including plant melt and how the system stabilized over time. During this journey, I also show how I treated Black Beard Algae (BBA) on Anubias leaves using hydrogen peroxide, what changes I made to lighting, and how small adjustments affected plant health and color. I briefly added ember tetras but later removed them due to stress and shy behavior, and finally introduced a betta fish to complete the setup.
