About This Video

In this video, I’m showing you how to fix the Wi‑Fi option/icon not showing in Windows 11—like when you open the quick settings and you only see Bluetooth, Airplane mode, and other toggles, but no Wi‑Fi at all. I keep it simple and fast, because if you can’t see the Wi‑Fi toggle, you can’t even get to your network settings properly, and it feels like your internet is “gone” even though the laptop is fine. First, I go straight into Settings and check Windows Update to make sure you don’t have any pending updates. After that, I run the built-in troubleshooter (Settings → Troubleshoot settings → Other troubleshooters → Network and Internet → Run) to detect issues like a disabled or malfunctioning Wi‑Fi adapter. The main fix I use is enabling Wi‑Fi again inside Advanced network settings: Settings → Network & internet → Advanced network settings → Wi‑Fi → Enable. Give it 5–10 seconds, and the Wi‑Fi option should pop back up and reconnect normally.
