In this video, I show you how to fix the “can’t set up Apple Pay” / “an error occurred while setting up Apple Pay” problem on your iPhone or iPad. I start with the basics that actually matter in real life: make sure your connection is stable (Wi‑Fi or cellular), then switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data to test. After that, I do a quick network refresh by toggling Airplane Mode on and off about 4–5 times, and I also tell you to disconnect any VPN in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management because VPN can block Wallet verification. Next, I go into the settings that commonly break Apple Pay setup: I check Language & Region and make sure your region is set correctly, then I turn on Set Automatically for Date & Time. I also recommend updating iOS if an update is available, because a lot of Wallet glitches are tied to software bugs. After updating, I do a force restart to clear minor glitches.
