About This Video

Hey guys, in this video I show you how to set any custom song as your iPhone alarm sound, and I keep it super simple. If you’re tired of the default alarm tones and you want your own music, you can do it right from your phone using GarageBand. I walk you through installing GarageBand from the App Store (if you don’t already have it), opening it, and switching to the Audio Recorder so you can import your audio file. After that, I show you the exact steps to bring your song in from the Files app: tap the loop icon, go to Files, browse items on My iPhone, pick the folder where your download is saved, then long-press the file and drag it onto the timeline. Once the audio is in, you export it as a ringtone by going to My Songs, long-pressing the project, tapping Share, and choosing Ringtone. Finally, I jump into the Clock app, create a new alarm, select Sound, and pick the ringtone you just made—done. If you follow my steps, you’ll have your custom alarm sound set in a couple of minutes.
