In this video, I’m showing you how to fix YouTube comments not showing, not loading, or just disappearing while you’re watching a video. First, I always tell you to check the obvious one: sometimes the creator has comments turned off on that specific video, so there’s nothing to load. But if comments are enabled and you’re still stuck, I walk you through the main settings that usually cause this problem. The first real fix I test is Restricted Mode. I open the YouTube app, go to my profile (bottom right), hit Settings (gear icon), then General, and make sure Restricted Mode is OFF—because if it’s enabled, it can block comments on a lot of videos. After that, I recommend updating the YouTube app from the App Store or Play Store, since a lot of comment bugs are simply update-related. If it still won’t load, I switch to a stronger, stable network, disconnect any VPN, and then as a final step I offload or delete the YouTube app from iPhone Storage to clear out any bugged files so the app installs clean again.
