In this video I show you how to fix the Telegram “Connecting…” problem when it gets stuck and won’t sync messages. Most of the time it’s a network issue, so I start with the basics: make sure you’re on a stable, strong connection and you’re not connected to any VPN that’s slowing things down. On iPhone, I go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and disconnect anything active. Then I also fix a common cause people ignore—incorrect time—by turning on Set Automatically in Date & Time. After that, I walk you through the quick update checks that solve a lot of these loops: update iOS if needed and update Telegram from the App Store. If it’s still stuck, I do a force restart to clear minor glitches (volume up, volume down, then hold power until the Apple logo). And if none of that works, I show you how to check if Telegram is blocked in your country/region—because if it’s banned or restricted, you’ll need a VPN to connect. Finally, I show the “clean app” fix: offload or delete Telegram from iPhone Storage and reinstall, which helps if the app has a bug or corrupted data causing the connecting loop.
