The way the vocal pulls you in, plus the floaty, whimsical production, made the whole thing feel breathy and airy—like you’re literally floating on air. I break down what I’m hearing as a vocalist and someone who’s done a lot of mixing: the pads creating that wide, atmospheric “weightless” feeling, the strings, and those shimmery/glittery little electronic textures that keep popping in. The mix is packed—tons going on—but it’s so expertly balanced that it still feels flawless and cinematic. And when the voices blend in the duet moments?
