Here are the direct links to J Herbin 1670 Anniversary Stormy Grey, an ink that I think is a great compliment: https://youtu.be/CBOTnyZQ618 Van Dieman's Tassie Seasons Autumn Pepperberry is a purple fountain pen ink. Here on the channel, there is a new ink review posted weekly. I get inks test them and share the results with you, so you know before you buy. General thoughts on the ink are given. Multiple pens are used to get a varied experience with the ink. Two chromatographies are done, one done correctly and one after the ink has dried for 10 min. A resistance test is done on Rhodia paper, it is allowed to dry for three days and is then tested for how it performs when you highlight the writing, water, pen flush, and 1/3 bleach solution are also tested. There is also a nib, pen, and paper recommendation for this ink. At the beginning of the “Nib and Recommendation there will also be a ‘card’ with the complement ink I think looks best. I check my email at least once a week. It is important with this and all reviews to remember I am not an expert. I am just a nerd with a camera and an opinion. I expect my opinion to mostly be wrong as it is just my solitary opinion, make your own judgment and don’t follow groupthink. There always seems to be some variation of ink, pen, or paper. These are things out of my control, and I can only give my opinion on what I have in front of me. If your opinions are different, I encourage you to share them in the comments but please remember I am an amateur just having fun…. Also, me and everyone else you interact with on the internet is an actual human on the other end of the computer, they might be having a bad day and your kind words might be the best thing that happens to them that day. I am in shock if you have read this much of the description, if you have comment and let me know you found this. If you want, you can also follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/aninkguy/ I realize my audio has never been very good, I'm constantly trying to work on it. I also realize that I am not good at color correction…. I am not a professional, but an amateur with a camera. DO NOT contact anyone on telegram (or any other social media) claiming to be me. I am not running giveaways and I will not ask you for money. They are scammers and spammers, and they want to steal your money and personal information. About This Video

In this review I put Van Dieman’s Tassie Seasons Autumn Pepperberry through my usual “buy it or skip it” routine. It’s a purple ink, and I start out with my general thoughts while writing on Maruman Mnemosyne, then I move through a bunch of different notebooks and papers so you can see how it behaves in real-world use—not just on one “perfect” sheet. I also show a pen of the day sample on Clairfontaine, and then I compare it to a few other inks from Van Dieman’s that make good color complements. From there I run two chromatographies: one done correctly and one after the ink has dried for 10 minutes, because that drying time can change what you can pull back out of the line. I also do my resistance testing on Rhodia after letting it dry for three days, then I hit it with highlighting, water, pen flush, and a 1/3 bleach solution so you can see what survives and what doesn’t. I wrap up with my nib, pen, and paper recommendations, plus the color-complement ink I think pairs best—J. Herbin 1670 Stormy Grey—so you’ve got an easy “these two look great together” option if you like matching inks in a lineup.
