In this video, I’m honestly just getting personal about life as a 20 year old introvert and what it feels like settling into the world while everything is constantly changing. I talk about why I haven’t been as consistent on YouTube lately—because I’ve been feeling super duper unmotivated—and how I’ve been struggling with comparing myself to other people’s success, content, and lifestyles. Even though I know everyone moves at their own pace, social media can really take over your brain and make you feel like you have to be like everybody else, and I didn’t want to keep pretending I wasn’t feeling that. I also share little cozy life updates—coming home from uni/work, it raining nonstop, trying to find fall self-care vibes, ordering tabby socks, and me being picky with a phone case that low key felt like my tween bedroom. I show a new jewelry piece I added to my collection (because I’m a bracelet/jewelry girly and I literally don’t feel right leaving the house without jewelry). I also talk about picking up Japanese again and how I realized I need more “output,” not just input, if I really want to improve. To wrap it all up, I read a journal entry for November about autumn settling in and how change isn’t bad—it’s needed for growth. My takeaway is basically: be patient with yourself, breathe, let go, and allow yourself to grow with the quiet breeze.
