In this simple life diary, I’m taking you through my last Ramadan vlog of the year, and honestly I’m a little emotional because this month flew by. I talk about how healing it felt—like the energy was genuinely so good, my family was in good spirits, and I’m just really grateful (Alhamdulillah) for how this Ramadan went. I also help with iftar dinner which is rare for me because girl…I cannot cook. I’m basically on “prep duty” boiling macaroni noodles (trying not to overcook them) and cutting sweet potatoes, while admitting that some people just throw it down in the kitchen…and I’m not one of them. I also make a cute little matcha with a vanilla syrup moment at the bottom, organize my pouch (Mochi pouch because she was too cute), and try to get into a Tony Morrison book. Then we get into my Eid gift upgrades: my mom bought me a new iPhone (blue, even though I wanted silver) and I also show my new iPad setup—because editing YouTube on 64GB was actually insane and no wonder everything kept crashing.
