šŸ¤šŸ•ŠļøšŸ«§ Morning Routine with a Baby & Toddler | Mom of Four // Soft Life šŸ¤ Morning Routine with a Baby & Toddler | Mom of Four // Soft Life Mornings with a baby and toddler are a mix of cozy chaos and intentional slowness. As a mom of four, I’ve learned that a well-structured morning routine sets the tone for a productive day in my life. Embracing a slow living lifestyle, I find joy in the simple moments—soothing my newborn, preparing for the day ahead, and creating a calm, welcoming home. I balance the fast pace of the city with the desire to live more intentionally, taking inspiration from Andrew Huberman and his approach to self-improvement. This morning routine is about blending slow living with productivity. From preparing my baby’s essentials—like newborn sleeping bags and other baby products—to creating a peaceful atmosphere for my family, I aim for balance. Taking care of a colic newborn while also ensuring my toddler’s needs are met means my mornings are full, but I wouldn’t trade this season of motherhood for anything. With breastfeeding and nursing being a big part of my routine, I’ve learned how to incorporate gentle rhythms into my day to make things smoother. A key part of my routine is maintaining a tidy space. My cleaning routine is all about efficiency—this isn’t a deep clean, but a clean with me moment to reset the house. I love incorporating decluttering and organizing throughout the day, using principles of minimalism to keep things simple. This approach helps me avoid burnout and keeps our home feeling fresh. A small Sunday reset mindset each morning makes a big difference in keeping clutter at bay. Inspired by Clutterbug, I’ve been embracing new ways to handle decluttering while staying present with my children. If you enjoy day in the life vlogs or watching weekly vlogs from other stay at home moms, this video is for you. I’ve always loved following creators like Molly Mae, Darling Desi, and Angie Bellemare, who inspire me in self-improvement, modern women embracing their homes, and even the balance of dark feminine energy with soft, nurturing moments. My journey as a Christian parenting mom involves listening to a Christian podcast while tidying up or taking a moment to plan with me to map out the day. As a big family household, routines are everything. Whether it’s newborn care, preparing baby items, or just making time for the older kids, I’ve found that structure helps keep things running smoothly. I also take inspiration from the homesteading lifestyle—creating a cozy, peaceful home where my children feel safe and loved. About This Video

In this cozy morning routine, I’m taking you along for a very real ā€œmum of fourā€ kind of morning—soft, slow, and a little bit chaotic. I start the day feeling absolutely shattered (hello, insomnia) and with a cold that’s stealing my voice, but I still wanted to share a gentle, homemaking-focused morning with you. I have a massive to-do list—some life admin bits, and some genuinely cozy things too—like baking a cake for the children. Once the older kids are off to school with my husband, it’s just me and baby girl. I’m nursing (and if you’ve breastfed, you’ll know that stage where they suddenly won’t sit still—honestly, I feel like a punching bag some mornings), then I get us dressed and into our rhythm. I feed her breakfast—banana is a firm favourite—then I do my little kitchen reset because having a tidy, clean kitchen makes the whole day feel calmer (at least until the school run chaos returns). While she naps, I deep clean and reset the house, make myself a proper lunch (a very British jacket potato with beans and cheese), squeeze in a contact nap, and then get on with baking before it’s time to collect the children.
