I’m not feeling my best (this illness is dragging on), Annabella was up lots in the night (we still co-sleep and I’m still breastfeeding), and honestly I’m running on coffee. I take you through my gentle morning rhythm: making my coffee, sitting at the kitchen table with my planner, and writing out my to-dos so I can stay calm and productive even when the house feels a bit chaotic. I also share little everyday bits that make my mornings feel more put-together, like getting the younger two dressed (including Annabella in a cute matching set), choosing my scent, and making my go-to morning protein shake that tastes like a “peanut/pina colada” (mango, pineapple, coconut water, protein, yogurt, milk, and ice). Then it’s playtime, Halloween crafts with the kids, and a cozy contact nap — which I genuinely love because it forces me to rest and reset in the middle of motherhood. We finish the day with dinner for the children, baths and showers, a calm evening rhythm, and then I head to the gym for a little “gym swap” with Glenn.
