Good morning, my loves. In this video I’m sharing a cozy (and very real) morning routine as a mum of four — even though we didn’t start the vlog until around 9 because I’d already been up at half 6 doing the older kids with my husband… and then I crawled back into bed and fell asleep again until Annabella woke up at ten to nine. Honestly, I felt so refreshed, and it was one of those gentle reminders that slow living sometimes looks like resting when you can, not forcing a perfect routine. After coffee and skincare, I talk you through what the day actually looks like when you’ve got kids finishing school at different times — Marley at 11, then Milo and Sophia at 1:30 — so I’m basically the taxi all day. I share how I try to stay on top of the diary (especially because I’m a primary school teacher too), squeeze in homemaking, and still keep the mood calm. I also planned some festive baking for after school, had a little fragrance-of-the-day moment, and then had to change plans when I realised we didn’t even have cupcake cases. I also open up about a really sad week we’ve had with our bunnies, and how I’m trying to be intentional going into the Christmas holidays — less screen time for the older two, more getting outside and doing simple things together. We finish the morning with the kids helping me bake red velvet cupcakes, chaos and all, because that’s real life in this season.
