🤍🕊️🫧 Cozy Night Routine as a Mom of Four / Slow Living With Kids ✨ Welcome to our cozy night routine with kids – a gentle glimpse into our slow evening routine as a mom of four. In this video, I’m sharing the real and beautiful parts of our evening routine for busy moms — where slow living meets the reality of motherhood. 🌙 We’ve built our mom of four evening routine around intentional moments: candles lit, little voices winding down, and space carved out for peace. This is our slow living evening routine, designed to create a peaceful night routine even with four little ones running around. Our evenings are full of family bonding bedtime moments and soft rituals that support our motherhood evening habits. From managing bedtime with kids to navigating those tricky transitions, I’ll show you our rhythm and share practical tips for putting kids to bed without chaos. With a night routine for large families, it’s all about creating flow. Our bedtime routine for four kids includes storytime, baths, cuddles, and quiet play — all part of a calm evening family ritual that supports their sleep and our connection. We’re all about slow living with kids, and each night is its own mindful nighttime ritual. Whether it’s a candlelit tidy-up or a quiet snuggle on the sofa, our slow parent evening helps set a calm tone for everyone. In this video, you’ll also see our peaceful parenting night routine and how we’ve leaned into slow parenting bedtime routines that are soothing, predictable, and joy-filled. Think cozy nighttime rituals, lullabies, and soft lighting — a full calm and cozy night routine that feels like a warm hug after a long day. For me, relaxing evening self-care includes small things like stretching, skincare, or reading by the window while the last bit of sun dips down. These serene evening habits have become non-negotiable. We start our power-down hour with kids at 5:30 — dimming lights, putting on calming music, and beginning our bedtime wind-down activities. These little routines are everything. It’s our version of slow evening rituals for families — simple, sacred rhythms that turn chaos into calm. Every night is filled with bedtime connection moments, and our whole routine has become a gentle slow living family evening guide that helps anchor us after a full, sometimes messy, day. If you’ve been craving a slower pace, more intention, and a dreamy nighttime routine with kids, this video is for you. I’ll also share how I’ve woven in relaxing evening routines for mothers and some of my favorite strategies for balancing motherhood when the day has been long and the energy is low. So grab a tea and get cozy — I’m inviting you into the realness and beauty of our cozy slow living night ritual with kids. This is our peaceful bedtime routine for a large family, and also — honestly? — it’s how I unwind at night with four children. This rhythm, this connection, this gentle presence… is my heart. About This Video

Hi sweet loves — in this cozy night routine I’m sharing one of those lovely long evenings where the day winds down slowly, with dinners, a bit of gardening, pottering about, gentle chores, and all the snuggly moments that make motherhood feel really full (and very loud in the best way). I start with dinner and use that time to properly check in with the kids — asking what made them laugh or what their favourite part of the day was — because it helps me see their day through their eyes. While they eat, I jot our home learning plan onto the whiteboard in a way that’s loose and rhythmic rather than strict, with Bible time feeling structured but still free. From there, it’s simple little rituals that keep the evening calm: melon for pudding, a clean-down of the kitchen (I just feel better when the kitchen is fresh and neat), and a quick screen-free sensory activity we tried together. We head into the garden, do a family chore time, and then bedtime begins — stories, snuggles, prayers, lights out, and the gentle rocking that I never want to rush. When the house finally goes quiet, I lean into slow, meditative cleaning with worship music, make chamomile tea with oat milk and honey, do a tiny bit more gardening, and end with a proper bubble bath before a cuddle on the sofa with Glen. It’s not fancy — it’s just real, cozy, and honestly my favourite kind of evening.
