On April 16, 2024, the Government Law Center at Albany Law School presented the third program in the annual Warren M. Anderson Legislative Series, “New York State Redistricting Revisited.” Panelists discussed recent developments in redistricting in New York State, including statutory and constitutional bases for drawing new district maps, legal challenges to redistricting maps, how New York’s redistricting process compares with other states, and the future of redistricting in New York State.
